In operation since 1956, Dolph Harris acquired Sidney
Millwork Company in 1979. The factory generates an average annual
revenue between 5 and 6 million dollars. Some of their products include
plastic laminate casework, wood science casework and architectural
millwork for institutions such as schools, libraries, hospitals,
courthouses, & dormitories.
Family owned and operated, Sidney Millwork Company
takes great pride in producing and delivering a high quality product to
the customer. The rapport between administration and employees is
excellent, which is evident by the large number of long-term employees
that remain with the company. Sidney Millwork Company is AWI
certified, and also a certified Corian fabricator.
Company president, Dolph Harris, has 50 years experience
in the construction industry. Dolph realizes that to stay in business in
this highly competitive market, the company must produce a high quality
product at a reasonable cost. He meets increasing industry demands by
enlarging production areas and upgrading to the latest modern equipment.
Under his direction, the company has grown from 9 employees to a current
workforce of 50 employees, and has increased from a $300k a year
business to a $5-6m business. |
