GENERAL CONDITIONS:
These specifications are intended to establish the quality of manufacture and installation of plastic laminate casework, countertops and all related items for a complete installation, less those items specifically excluded.

PROVIDE:
Casework of other manufacturers will be considered providing evidence of:

A.) Completing similar jobs over a five year period.
B.) Provide a catalog and submit full-sized samples
upon request.
C.) Copy of written one year warranty.
D.) Proof of bonding ability and capacity for the value
of the project.
E.) Resume of five major projects completed in a converse order, showing date, dollar 
      amount, Owner, Architect and Contractor.  Include addresses and telephone
      numbers.

WORK NOT INCLUDED:
Rubber, vinyl or carpet base.
Blocking in walls.
Plumbing and electrical items not specifically noted on plan details.

SHOP DRAWINGS:
One sepia and one print of all casework, showing construction, location of all special plumbing and electrical items and all blocking required. All items, furnished by others, that require coordination. Corrected copies to be furnished to Contractor.

INSTALLATION:
The installation of the casework shall be completed by experienced workmen, provided by, responsible to, or approved by the cabinet manufacturer, using recommended practices of the manufacturer and conforming to the manufacturer's installation manual. All work shall be completed in a workman-like manner, set plumb and true, and within the limits as established by the A.W.I. or W.I.C. Any deviation from this requirement shall be in writing, and approved by the Owner and Architect, releasing the manufacturer from the responsibility of the quality of the installation.

WARRANTY:
The manufacturer warrants the Plastic Laminate Casework to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance, or substantial completion, or owner occupancy, whichever occurs first.
